Project Description

To coincide with Ireland's presidency of the European union, Gilroy McMahon were commissioned by the Office of Public Works to refurbish the Department of Foreign Affairs on Harcourt Street, a four storey building over basement car park of 3000m2.

The project comprises of a radical structural re-organisation and complete replacement of all existing services, fittings and finishes all to the highest standards and specification.

The design involved a complex hierarchical organization of various internal departments and efficient space design strategy.The project was completed in two phases on schedule and on budget.
